An intensive study of rubrics, tradition and liturgical aesthetics in the art of the diaconate

One of the most difficult aspects of learning the art of the diaconate is receiving instruction during the actual service.  Aside from bad aesthetics, we know from experience this old method is not prayerful and often stressful - especially during hierarchical services.   In response to this, we’ve put together the Diaconate Boot Camp bringing two masters together for a four-day intensive workshop, concluding with the hierarchical services of All Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy.   Here we will cover rubrics, voice control, as well as open discussions concerning the art of the diaconate - all in the Church Altar and Liturgical setting.    Archpriest Andrey Popkov and Protodeacon Vadim Gan will be your teachers with his Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan as the officiating hierarch.
